The CEREC Software provides three restoration Design Modes. My bread and butter posterior approach is Biogeneric Individual. For multiple anterior restorations, my preference is Biogeneric BioCopy. Going into anterior applications with a mock-up will provide design certainty and a preparation reduction guide reference. For a single central, Biogeneric Reference is my preference—with this approach we are able to reproduce the “DNA” labial morphology by copying the adjacent central and the software will propose a mirror image.
