CEREC 4.0 has expanded the CAD/CAM industry.  With the combo of e.max, I am routinely preparing, scanning, and milling flawless feather margins…WOW.  The 4.0/MC XL machining precision is phenomenal. With 4.0, I now finally have my fully integrated restorative command center to control my clinical theater.  Thanks Sirona and Ivoclar for teaming up and providing a restorative dream!  The presented veneer case conveys where we have come with the current systemRead more

Seated the CEREC 4.0 all-e.max bridges today!  The fits were incredible and only one occlusal adjustment to the lingual of #11 abutment.  One of the important values of in office CAD/CAM for me is the control factor for design, occlusion, and restorative finish.  The precision provided by the optical algorithms in CEREC 4.0 have elevated the milling results.  I enjoy pushing for new horizons with CEREC applications. Incisal effects were accomplished with labial cutback and Ceram incisalRead more

I have done a number e.max implant abutment-crowns and they are working very well.  I use them in the posterior region when the implant alignment provides a screw access retention option.  A Sirona TiBase is seated and then scanned.  The CEREC 4.0 scan and mill algorithms are precise enough to generate a tight/snug fit.  TiBase anti-rotational factors are increased with additional preparation to the TiBaseRead more
