The cloud developed by Dentsply Sirona, DS Core, has been good for the digital world in dentistry. Not only does the cloud service make CEREC and Inlab an open system, but digital imaging systems across the board can now be uploaded to DS Core, and this cloud service offers file conversion to software design options outside of the Dentsply Sirona ecosystem. The introduction of Primescan 2 is creating a new investigated surge for in-office CAD/CAM. Now, with DS core, we are entering a new world for open systems and building unique CAD/CAM system matches in the office. The Primescan 2 is a cloud scanner for both in-office CAD/CAM users and online cloud options for digital labs, ortho, and design centers. So, the future of dentistry can now mix a Trio scanner via DS Core to inLab and then mill on a Primemill or MC XL.
