Morning topic focus was about CEREC software applications for developing subgingival implant abutment/crown emergence to optimize soft tissue scaffolding support. Afternoon hands-on workshop provided instructional videos and practical applications for using Ivocolor stain and glaze application for restorations in the aesthetic zone.

View New Online Training CEREC Content - New Content Link. Are we able to machine thin feather margins with CEREC without chipping? Oh yes, we can! In fact, I am going to make a quality statement. We can mill a "pressable" margin with the MC XL using the EF bur system. This video will review the clinical criteria for applying a thin margin to optimize the aesthetic results.

The Christmas season is a special time for the Klim family. We head north to Spokane, Washington to visit the relatives and play in the snow. I have really enjoyed connecting with so many of my fellow CEREC colleagues and the incredible fellow educators in the Sirona CAD/CAM and 3D industry. One highlight of the recent Dentsply Sirona 2017 for me was running into Dr. Daniel and Lulu Vasquez on the trade show floor. It was fun to see where the conversation took us.
