I am often asked the question, why is there sensitivity after e.max restorations are placed. Even when using a good adhesive primer. Watch the video and find my perspective. In general, the adhesive systems in our current market portfolio perform very well and have significantly diminished post cementation sensitivity. So why may we occasionally observe this event in our restorative clinical theaters. For Bluecam and Omnicam users, it comes down to over drying and desiccating the dentin prior to imaging. In this video, I will review some pointers in getting around the imaging issue. I do agree, the dryer the image field, the better

I do appreciate the all zirconia restorations and provide quite a number of them as a treatment option in my clinical theater. The primary benefit of the all zirconia restoration for me is the conservative crown prep and biomechanical “muscle” material behavior. In the next year, we will find an abundant of new brands and translucency options being introduced to the market. We will need to decipher recommended prep style and reduction demands for each brand (strength).
The prep reduction metrics will be determined by brand and strength. They are not all the same. For instance, the ZirCAD LT recommends 0.6 minimal thickness

We are looking forward to sharing our upcoming series called “Leadership in the Clinical Theater”. Our learning model will be me with Jordan, my German Shepard. Jordan is one of the best dogs I have every had. He came to our home fully trained as a protection dog, alpha off the charts. My interactions with Jordan and his responses amplify the quality of my leadership skills. The principles of leadership that are required for great Jordan performance parallel the needed leadership principles required for success in our relationships in life, even at the office. Over the next year, we will be releasing at the kliminstitute.com

Love the digital impression and Formlab 2 printer. Our goal this year has been to go with the digital impression and printed models for our classic implant guides, splints, aligner treatment, retainers, and sleep apnea appliances. The fits are significantly better as compared to traditional impressions and then poured in stone. View #KlimDigitalMoment video

The 4.5 software is here. I love the upgraded margin clarity and refined mills. However, the software does crash a bit. Unless you have a recent computer tower, you may need to upgrade to make this software work. Sorry! However, this software is the closest I have seen in performance to 3.85 since introducing the 4.0 platform. View my intro video. There is a general overview for each section of the software in the 4.5 Software Channel. More videos will be coming soon in the 4.5 Channel. View 4.5 Overview Video

We have been working on our updated website platform for the last 6 months. We are looking forward to adding allot of new content and online CE options. As we observe the performance of our new platform, I am sure there will be a few areas to tweak. That is part of our upgrade journey. We look forward to the future and many new adventures and learning options for you online. Thank you to Jenny Nolan at the Klim Institute for overseeing and orchestrating the new site.
