My number one factor in avoiding post-treatment sensitivity following the delivery of indirect restorations is the management of force dynamics in the occlusal morphological design. This is one reason I like the virtual digital design to control occlusal contact placement. This video's occlusal design concept uses Primescan and the latest CEREC software. These principles apply to Exocad and 3 Shape software, and I am also branching into these virtual design softwares.

The following question came into the messaging center. "I have a case coming
up which has posterior erosion with passive eruption. Wondering what the best

Aesthetic zirconia workflow question that arrived at the Klim Institute Message Center:
"Interested in your intrinsic staining technique. Can this also be used on the Katana blocks? I want to mill, intrinsically stain my zirconia restorations, sinter, polish, and then the seat. Do you offer any hands-on courses, or which online videos do you recommend I watch? Also, can you provide a materials list so I can get the supplies to start?"
James Klim Response:
Yes, I use infiltration on Katana and the ZirCAD Multi to enhance intrinsic cervical coloration when needed. I use ZirCAD LTRead more

My primary goal for this series is to provide a systematic pathway to ceramic selection. The closer the treatment is to the midline, the more critical our ceramic selection becomes. With all-ceramic dentistry, there is more than color. Other factors that will impact our ceramic selection are restoration thickness, the color of the preparation, material translucency, cement/spacerRead more

Welcome to The Dental Show Live. I do this webcast with Dr. Todd Ehrlich (Digital Enamel) about dental topics related to digital dentistry. The Dental Show is streamed live weekly on Facebook and uploaded to The Dental Show Live youtube channel.
This live presentation reviews the advantages to in-office CAD/CAM (Primescan by Dentsply Sirona) when it comes to managing and controlling restorative occlusion. Dr. Klim will present his Primescan software design strategy for shimstock quality milled in-office restorations.

View New Online Training CEREC Content - New Content Link. Are we able to machine thin feather margins with CEREC without chipping? Oh yes, we can! In fact, I am going to make a quality statement. We can mill a "pressable" margin with the MC XL using the EF bur system. This video will review the clinical criteria for applying a thin margin to optimize the aesthetic results.

Smile appeal is about the feelings we get with the confidence level of our smile. This video documents the prototype process Dr. Klim uses for his clients to experience the "smile appeal" experience before they start the smile enhancement process. Building a better smile can be a life-changing experience. Our clients report feeling more confidence and energy after redesigning their smiles. They are happier at home and optimistic at work. Best of all, they smile more often.
