Happy New Year to all my CEREC Liftoff colleagues. I am looking forward to this coming year and the CEREC world. We will continue to evolve and add to CEREC Liftoff so you will value this site as a dental mentoring site for years to come. I spend as much time in the dental clincial trenches with CEREC chairside as I do teaching. So what I bring to the mentoring table is what I do on a daily basis in the practice. CEREC Liftoff is evolving to be more than CEREC, but also my practice style, systems, and philosophies. Thanks so much for signing up as members. Each one of you are valuable. Happy New Year! Subgingival Margin Management

I just completed this case. Subgingival margins on the distal due to cervical decay issues. Laser tissue retraction with the VITA Scan Spray will create very crisp and enhanced margins for optical capture. Restoration: Full crown, e.max cement with SpeedCEM.

e.max Veneer Case

Just seated this e.max B1 HT veneer case. Prepared and imaged in the late afternoon of my clinical day, desensitized prepared teeth, and seated the veneers the next morning. Worked from a wax-up as the guide for tooth proposal. This case will soon be posted in CEREC Liftoff Chapter 9.

Veneers and Correlation Jig for CEREC 3.85 and Prior Versions

For 3.85 version and prior, I still prefer the Correlation Jig when taking a veneer optical capture for multiple maxillary incisor veneers. The new posted video in chapter 9 will review the capture "Correlation Jig" technique used in the Klim office. Benefits of Correlation Jig 1. Fewer optical captures required. 2. Final photograph of e.max B1 HT restorations on #27, 28, and 29. Labial thickness is 0.4 mm. Precise margin imaging yields precise ceramic margins. The "feather like" margins can now be achieve with the strength integrity of e.max. Mill margin at no less than 0.3 mm with Parameter Margin thickness at 100. Polish back with silicone polishing wheel (see Chapter 4 and 9) to achieve
